Loud music pounds against my skull, and I am reminded once again of my hatred of Skrillex. The strobe lights flash across the large room, silhouetting rapidly moving bodies on a sleek dance floor. I manage to hear a bottle shatter somewhere nearby.
I sigh, lifting the glass to my lips. I barely get the liquid into my mouth before someone slaps an arm across my shoulders rather roughly. I almost spit out my drink in surprise.
“Mff-” I turn to my drunken friend. “Hey, watch it, man! I can only afford so many of these.”
